A Story of the Stones
Somewhere in Scotland, a man was walking in a wood thinking of her.
He found a big pile of stones there. The stones have been laying there many hundred years or even thousands of years…. They look hard and heavy like Scottish Whinstone resting in this wood under thick carpets of moss. The contrast in colour of light green of moss and dark colour of stones themselves is beautiful.
The man told her that there were beautiful stones so she might like them.
I went to see the stones and their owner. I immediately imagined them arranged in a Japanese garden, possibly shaping a cascade and a pond.
I heard that they were more likely carried by glacial ice in Ice age.
I asked him if I can take them to Edinburgh to be a part of a Japanese garden I am building.
I don’t know how far the stones travelled and how long they took to be here. But there is a story of the stones and together we can create a new chapter of the story.
How on the earth, the stones could thought that they could be ended up in a Japanese garden in Edinburgh after several million years later?
We have just started writing the new chapter….
